My name is Jonathan Rabinowitch. I was born in Brussells on the 10th June 1977. From the age of 18 has been my passion and it wasn't much later than I discovered Texas Hold'Em and the variety of mathematics, psychology and discipline that the game involves. You can spend your whole life learning how to improve your game, which is what makes it such an exciting game.
To begin with, I played cash games with friends. We enjoyed it for many years and grew together as players. I then disovered MTT tournaments, around 2003. I got a couple of good results and managed to win my first tournament, in which there were over 500 players, before I even read my first poker book. I even managed to accumulate wins of over 4 figures.
In April of 2010 I finished 4th out of 1717 in a $163 MTT and won my first 5 figured prize, $20,000. 2010 was a good year, but 2011 was even better, as I won over 20 four-figured and 2 five-figured cash prizes. I finished up 2011 online, coming 7th out of 6982 players in the $215 Sunday Million, which allowed me to join the room's Belgian Team. Since starting out on the internet, I've competed in around 1800 tournaments and I've seen a 99.54% return on my investments in all rooms.
As for live tournamets, 2010 was the year that I gained the most experience, playing in around 70 tournaments at the Casino de Namur, with a wide range of wins and good returns on my investments. It also meant that I had the chance to get involved in the Belgian Poker community. In January 2011, I won a tournament which was reserved for the 2010 Top 50 players, pocketing a package for the Deauville EPT Main Event.
In June 2011, I finished second in a side event in the Marrakech DSO but my best live performance to date was my 2nd place out of 477 players in the Wallonie Poker Series. Since then, I've followed most main events in order to take part in their side events. So aside from Dublin, Deauville and Marrakech, I've played in Saint-Amant, Cannes, Loutraki, Prague, Vienna and I love travelling. My Hendon Mob file contains 6 lines and 5 final tables, and I'd really like to add another to that list. I'm hope to do so with Poker770, because if there's one thing I like about Poker, it's proving that people were right to have faith in me.
